Oklahoma City

The Oklahoma City thunder have been roaring through the league recently.  Kevin Durrant went on barrage of 30+ point games and shows that he has really matured in the league and can score on anybody.  Supplemented with a great point guard in Russell Westbrook, and a talented forward in Jeff Green, the Thunder have a great chance of getting a good spot in the playoffs.

Just like so many of the other teams fighting for a spot in the Western Conference, the Oklahoma City Thunder have really stepped it up and made some impressive runs in the past couple months.  Westbrook is a big guard and has advantage over his opponents by being able to muscle and out-jump them.  Durrant is a threat inside as well as from beyond the arc, making him an extremely dangerous player to leave open.

They also acquired a valuable rookie point guard in Eric Maynor, and he has helped out off the bench.   The Thunder currently holds a record of 38 wins and 24 losses.  They currently are fourth in the Northwest Division, and are ranked sixth in the Western Conference.

This team has the ability to really step it up and beat big teams when the occasion arises.  If they can just keep this mentality and hold strong to the end of the regular season, they will be a tough playoff contender.  While they don’t have the experience that a lot of teams do in the post season, their youth, motivation, and drive will make them a team to not be taken lightly.
