Minnesota Timberwolves

The Minnesota Timberwolves are currently at the bottom of the Northwest division right behind the Portland Trailblazers.  They have a record of 14 wins and 50 losses, and are currently one of the worst teams in NBAThe Timberwolves have had their struggles this season, and are continuing to go through a stage of rebuilding.

They have had a few sparks of potential with upsets over top seeds in the west like the Utah Jazz, but overall they have not been able to make much of a splash in the league.  At only 14 wins on the season, they are right down there at the bottom of the pack with the New Jersey Nets.

The Timberwolves are currently on a six game losing streak, and Al Jefferson just came off of serving a two game suspension.  There are obviously some problems with the coaching staff, as Kurt Rambis chose Ryan Hollis to start over Kevin Love even though Kevin Love is on track to record more than 30 double doubles by the end of this season.

One of the only bright spots on this team is the Rookie Guard Jonny Flynn, who has made some headlines and shown that he will be able to run with the best of the point guards in the league.  He is still young and needs some time to mature, but he definitely has talent.

No one expected Minnesota to be good this year, but no one expected they would play this poorly throughout the season.  Hopefully they can get a good lottery pick and cross their fingers for next year.
