Los Angeles Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers have about five weeks left in the regular season and are only at 25 wins total.  That is half of the amount of wins that the Los Angeles Lakers have accumulated.  The Los Angeles Clippers have been known to be one of the lesser teams in all of sports history.  This year has really been no different.  They fall into third place in the Pacific Division, but they are still one of top ten worst teams in the league right now.  They occasionally have a big win (like they did over the Utah Jazz last week) followed by a series of huge losses.

The Clippers had bad luck from the very beginning of the season when their prized rookie Blake Griffin shattered his patella in the summer league.  Before the season even began, it was over for him.  With the number one pick already out, the Clippers have had to make due with what they currently have.

They have had a few players step up to the plate like Chris Kaman, who was picked as an All-Star, and Eric Gordon.  Gordon has provided some good athleticism while Kaman has provided a presence in the post.  While this has not been enough to help them win a lot of games, it shows potential for next year once they get Blake Griffin back.  Put two talented big men in the post and it leaves them some options for outside shooting and a possible shot at the playoffs.
