Golden State Warriors
At only 17 wins on the season, the Golden State Warriors are the second worst team in the Western Conference, statistically. They haven’t won on the road in over two months, and have just not been able to come together as a team in order to be a legitimate contender.
They have, however, found a future All-Star in Stephen Curry. Curry is a rookie this year but just barely recorded his third 30 point and 10 assist game this last weekend. He has been tearing it up lately, and is in the running for Rookie of the Year along with Tyreke Evans from the Sacramento Kings. Curry is currently working alongside Monta Ellis, who has also had a heck of a season. As is the case with so many of these teams, a couple stars can only do so much without the rest of the team stepping up.
The Warriors were not expected to have a great season this year, but they hoped to have had a better one than what they have showed so far. If a team is unable to win on the road then there is a good chance that they will not be making it to the playoffs. This is the case with the Golden State Warriors as they only occasionally win a home game here and there.
Obviously, don’t expect to see them in the playoffs, but keep your eye on that talented rookie of theirs and see what he can do to finish off the season strong.
