Cleveland Cavaliers
It is probably safe to say that any team that has Lebron James in the starting line-up is probably going to make it to the playoffs. Give him some help with Mo Williams, Antawn Jamison, Delonte West, and Shaquille O’neal, and you have got yourself a team worth of competing for the National Championship.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have just swept the league this season. Boasting the best record in the NBA right now with 50 wins and only 15 losses, the Cavs look to easily retain their number one spot in the East, and cruise through the first couple rounds of the playoffs before having any real challenges. They are first in the Central Division, first in the Eastern Conference, and the top ranked team in the NBA right now and aren’t showing any signs of slowing down.
This past week was a little bit of a mix-up for the Cleveland Cavaliers, as Lebron James sat out few games to make sure that he didn’t tweak his ankle any more than it already was. This gave the Milwaukee Bucks a chance to upset the team, but the Cavs pulled it together for the game against the Spurs and won it without Lebron. He looks to be back in the lineup this week, where more domination will certainly ensue.
The Cavaliers are currently three games ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers, and are looking to be the best bet for the Eastern Conference champions this year in the playoffs. Orlando and the Celtics might give them some grief in the next couple of weeks, but it doesn’t look like many teams will be able to slow them down.
