New Orleans Hornets visit Boston Celtics

The Hornets started out the season on fire, but they have started to fade away recently. They are now 18-13 on the season. The Celtics are 24-5 this year and look like they could be the best team in the NBA.
The Hornets have really struggled as of late. After having the best record in the NBA early on they have lost 6 of their last 10 games and are 3rd place in the Southwest Division of the Western Conference. They are currently in the 6th seed in the Western Conference.
The key for the Hornets has been their defense. They have allowed just 92.4 points per game. This is good for the 3rd best defense in the NBA. The problem for the Hornets is that they rely on Chris Paul for almost everything. While he is a great player, it will be difficult for him to carry the team for a whole season.
The Celtics have won 9 of their last 10 games and continue to excel even without Rajon Rondo in the lineup. The Celtics have the best defense in the NBA and also lead the league in assists per game. They are known for their ability to take perimeter players out of the game. Look for the Hornets to try get other players involved as Paul may struggle against the Celtics.
This game will be a very important one for the Hornets. A victory would give the momentum and confidence that they can beat the top teams in the league.
